What is the cost?

An administration team member will discuss your personalised payment plan at your first visit. This will ensure you understand:

Medicare pays a contribution towards most fertility treatments; however you will still have some out-of-pocket costs. For more information about Medicare and the Safety Net, please visit www.medicareaustralia.gov.au.

What if I need donor eggs or sperm?

Your fertility specialist will go through the procedures involved in obtaining donor eggs or sperm. Some couples already have a donor in mind.

Do you provide egg freezing?

Yes, we provide egg freezing. 6 months storage is included as part of your treatment fee, however if you would like to extend the freezing time, there is an additional cost. Find out more information about storage costs.

Is sex selection possible?

No, sex selection is not possible for non-medical purposes in Australia.

From the Ethical Guidelines on Assisted Reproductive Technology

“Sex selection is an ethically controversial issue. The Australian Health Ethics Committee believes that admission to life should not be conditional upon a child being a particular sex. Therefore, pending further community discussion, sex selection (by whatever means) must not be undertaken except to reduce the risk of transmission of a serious genetic condition.”
